Bocuse d'Or Finale 2019: The Running Order

Bocuse d'Or, the biggest culinary competition in the world, in partnership with S.Pellegrino, returns to Lyon, France on 26 to 30 January 2019, taking place inside within the world-famous gastronomic exhibition, Sirha.

While the challenging themes of the biennial competition have not yet been revealed, we already know the running order of the 24 qualified countries that will compete over two gruelling days of competition on 29 and 30 January.

On Tuesday, January 29, Morocco, Hungary, the United States, Argentina, Norway, Chile, Iceland, Brazil, Canada, Italy, the United Kingdom and Denmark will step into the ring to defend their country's colours.

While on day two, Wednesday, 30 January, it will be the turn of Finland, France, Singapore, China, Belgium, Thailand, Tunisia, Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Australia and South Korea to face off in the heat of the kitchen.

The pre-selection rounds have determined the qualified teams in Bocuse d’Or Europe, Bocuse d’Or Asia Pacific and Bocuse d’Or Americas, and Bocuse d'Or Africa.

Now the teams will already be hard at work, perfecting their platters and honing their timings and organisation in what will be a carefully adjudicated moment under bright lights and the deafening cheers of their supporters.

Which team will do enough to lift the crown from reigning champion Matthew Peters from the USA in the 2019 Bocuse d'Or. Join us for live updates from Lyon in January!
