Originally scheduled to open in January, the new Japanese-Peruvian fusion restaurant by the Adria brothers will open in early March.

Called Pakta, the restaurant will serve a cuisine called nikkei. It will be located in Barcelona, next door to Tickets, which is operated by Albert Adria. So far, Pakta will seat 30 and will feature an estimated 35 dishes, with an ever evolving menu created in part by chefs Jorge Munoz Castro, a Spanish chef with Peruvian roots, and Kioko Ii from Japan.

Albert Adria told Gastroeconomy that their upcoming Mexican restaurant will be called Yaguarcan (home of the jaguar) and will open in the summer. Both Pakta and Yaguarcan are expected to serve small courses similar in style to Tickets, a type of cooking Adria referred to as ''haute neighborhood cuisine.'' The video below, which depicts the 41º experience, will give you a glimpse as to what to expect.
