When most people think of linguine they probably associate it with clams. Although that classic Italian dish is quite delicious we'd like to suggest other great ways of cooking linguine. Thin and flat, linguine lends itself to numerous preparations and is a great vehicle for sauce. That's why we think you'll love the following recipes.

Linguine with Pesto

In Italian this dish is called linguine alla genovese which translates to linguine prepared in the style of Genoa, a port city in Liguria where the humble pesto sauce originated.

Linguine with Swordfish

A common dish in southern Italy, this recipe features swordfish, zucchini and mint. The sauce is a combination of tomatoes and white wine with plenty of garlic and onions.

Linguine Margritte

This artistic dish from Italian chef Matteo Torretta calls for linguine be cooked in aromatic tomato water infused with garlic, chili flakes, basil and parmesan cheese.
