These 7 Vegan Egg Substitutes Will Change The Way You Bake

It's not easy finding vegan egg substitutes. Eggs, after all, add a certain moisture and texture to baked goods that is hard to imitate.

If you follow a vegan lifestyle you don't have to part with your favorite desserts. You simply need to start using these awesome vegan egg substitutes.

You'll be surprised to know many of these vegan egg substitutes may already be in your kitchen. Most are ingredients you can put into smoothies - like bananas and flax seeds - that offer a nice dose of fiber. Others will even add a little protein to your cakes, cookies and other sweet treats.

Below are some examples of vegan egg substitutes you can try next time you are in the mood for baking. However, if you are interested in egg substitutes for savory cooking check out Vegg, a vegan version of egg yolk.

APPLESAUCE

Use 1/3 cup to substitue one egg. It's a nice way to add moisture to cakes.
