Opened by Mauro and his sister Catia in 1990, the restaurant sits directly on the beach in Senigallia on the eastern coast of Italy. A magical place that changes with the seasons, passing from the brightness of the summer to the melancholic but nonetheless charming colours of autumn.
The menu offers simple and contemporary cuisine, elegant yet rooted in evolving tradition. Fish is the main ingredient, but game and vegetables also feature.
Among the great chef classics are wafer of fatty duck liver and hazelnuts, ricciola (amberjack) alla Puttanesca, crunchy red mullet with parsley soup and candied rhubarb through to more creative dishes like "Il mare dentro" (the sea inside) made with codfish and monkfish tripe, turbot heart, cod liver, cuttlefish liver and turbot.
