With October here and Halloween fast approaching, we thought we’d take a look at one of the season’s best ingredients: pumpkin.
It’s a versatile ingredient that can take on a number of different flavour profiles depending on how you cook it. So, with this in mind, we decided to bring you a round up of Michelin chefs cooking with pumpkin.
Delicious Pumpkin Recipes from Michelin Chefs
First up is Gordon Ramsay as he sets about teaching his kitchen crew how to cook a pumpkin risotto. A hearty pumpkin recipe that’s sure to warm you up on those winter nights.
Next up is the UK based Michelin starred chef Sat Bains as he prepares his dish of pork, pumpkin and chorizo - a spicy combination that uses the sweet kick of pumpkin balanced with the kick of chorizo.
Three starred chef Jonnie Boer cooks a recipe of langoustine & pumpkin with distilled cucumber juice.
Watch Pascal Barbot as he creates his dish of Butternut Squash Ravioli With Creamy Lobster Bisque - the butter nut can easily be switched for pumpkin in this recipe, we just like Barbot's take on the dish.
