We’re constantly being told to put down the cameras, close our Instagram apps and just enjoy our dinner but it’s easier said than done when chefs across the globe are serving what look like edible pieces of art.

To save us all letting our food go cold for that perfect shot, Grub Street have compiled a list of some of America’s Most Stunning Dishes.

Grub Street say they looked for “splendor, eye-popping precision, and the kinds of dishes that remind you what happens when very smart, hyper-talented people spend every waking moment thinking about ways to push things forward”.

There’s some truly amazing dishes on the list with the likes of Grant Achatz’s Graffiti dish at Alinea (seen above) and Mario Hevia's Spring Duck Egg at Canlis in Seattle both featuring in the final selection.

There’s 103 different dishes, a perfect place to pick up some ideas and insertion for your next creative moment in the kitchen.
