Carbonara is not only delicious, but also super simple to make, perfect for a quick midweek dinner or as a crowdpleaser at your next gathering. Learn how to make carbonara and you’ll never be stuck for a tasty option.

As any Roman will tell you, you need just a few ingredients: pasta, obviously (spaghetti usually, but rigatoni and bucatini are also used), cheese (Pecorino Romano and sometimes Parmigiano), guanciale (pork jowl), eggs and pepper.
