We all know that the food industry is big in America but just what sort of effect does it have on the U.S. economy?

Overall growth, how many jobs it generated and many more figures are analyzed in what is an interesting monetary based look at the industry.

It's full of some really interested data like the fact that 1 in 4 American's started their working career in a restaurant and that 1.7 Billion Dollars is spent each day on food in restaurants.
