Easter comes but once a year and with it comes all those lovely easter dishes - Lamb, eggs, hot cross buns and of course those succulent roast hams. They all make for great holiday dishes but what do you do with the leftovers ?
It's the same question after Thanksgiving and Christmas and the internet is more than equipped to answer as food bloggers and journalists from around the world begin to post their Easter leftover suggestions. With that in mind FDL decided to round up three of the best Easter Leftover posts:
It's not Easter without eggs and even if you didn't eat any this holiday there's a good chance you blew them, painted or decorated them as part of the Easter festivities. That's why we think this post from Home Cooking is so useful.
They set out their ten top ways to use up your hard boiled eggs - a great resource if you find your self with so much unused egg you're not sure what to do with it all.
Over at The Huffington Post they have a great post about what to do with all the unused sweets leftover from Easter. Peeps, chocolate bunnies and jelly beans are the main culprits in America and the Huff has some top tips for re-using your Easter candy, including some nice pictures.
All Recipes have a great recipe post for a casserole to use up all that ham - it's a simple recipe that should breath some life into that aging ham.
