Last year we brought you the news of a strange advertising campaign from a Brazilian agency to take fruits and force them to grow in the shape of their client’s juice packets.
Now a group of farmers in China have taken the process one step further by growing a range of pears in the shape of pears.
The pears are simply placed inside buddha shaped plastic molds which forces them to grow in a specific shape.
The farmer, who has so far managed to grow over 10,000 buddha shaped pears, says he wants to experiment with bigger fruits like watermelons.
They can be ordered online but they're expensibe and only personalised orders can be made.
