Did you know that since 2005 blueberry consumption in America from 1995 to 2011 has almost tripled? Steadily rising from 283 million lbs to 853 million lbs - they're tasty and delicious and the health benefits of blueberries are plentiful.

Blueberries are a super food packed full of vitamins and minerals, low in fat and full of things that are good for the body.

In this food infographic from the U.S Blueberry Highbush Council, made up of members from the North American blueberry industry, they set out some of the nutritional benefits of blueberries including figures on consumption through North America.

The graph then goes on to list some of the strongest blueberry health benefits including the fact that just one serving of blueberries can constitute up to 25% of a person's recommended daily vitamin C intake.
