Sabatini Gin: The London Gin with a Tuscan Heart

Sip on a Sabatini Gin and you'll be transported away from the bright city lights of London and into the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside.

By bottling that unique heady scent of the Eutruscan hills, beloved by the British, inside London's favourite distilled spirit, Sabatini is new gin drinking for Italophiles dreaming of last summer.

Brainchild of the Sabatini family, who linked up with leading expert Charles Maxwell of London's Thames Distillers and Alessandro Palazzi, the manager of a well known London cocktail bar, this is a gin boasting botanicals direct from those rolling hills in an 'ode' to the family's homeland.

Containing a blend of nine herbs including; juniper coriander, iris, fennel, lavender, olive leaves, thyme, verbena and sage, most of the botanicals are sourced directly from the family's own Tuscan estate and sent on to London for the artisanal brewing process.

And the taste? On the palate the gin is reported as "full-bodied but not overbearing, leaving behind a delicate, lingering aftertaste".

We're all for the modern 'gin-aissance' and this looks like another reason to stock up the home bar.

Sabatini Gin retails at approximately 38 euros (approx. $43USD).Find out where you can pick up a bottle of Sabatini Gin.
