In what seems like an attempt to kill the beauty and finesse of the might omelette, a company has launched a machine they say can cook a vertical omelette at the touch of a button.
Just crack a few eggs inside the Rollie egg cooker and out comes a cylindrical egg dish they’re calling an omelette.
The eggs come out on a stick – some sort of poultry–based lollipop we’re supposed to get very excited about.
The video below shows the Rollie in action, but even at just $25 we’re not sure we’ll be ordering one for the kitchen. In fact, until a machine can make 'Omelette a’ la Pepin' – shown in the second video – we won’t even consider a purchase.
