The moment has finally arrived for the special celebration issue of trendy French Fooding Guide for 2016.
Renowned for its independent and playful take on French gastronomy Le Fooding Guide celebrated its 15th birthday this year following its original launch in 2000. In this special edition the magazine remains true to its core "of liberated cuisine, wild entertainment and reinvigorated traditions… And most importantly, the fall of the bourgeois-bohèmes!"
The 2016 edition allows readers to discover nearly "1,000 grand restaurants, small eateries, tapas bars, modern dives, take-out spots and creative bistros, all tested and approved by 52 anonymous fine diners."
In addition the guide covers the awards given out to the year’s best chefs and restaurants and the gastro- revolutionary pornfolio "to be consumed responsibly."
Art also features, including the 'crème de la crème of the art world': Ruppert et Mulot, Lewis Trondheim, Thomas Lélu, Stéphane Trapier, Atelier AAAAA, Donatien Mary and Guillaume Belvèze.
The premium edition of Fooding Guide comes with an extra supplement entitled a 'Japanese Tour' which lists the best Japanese restaurants in Paris and includes a glossary or "japarigot" containing some of the most outlandish Parisian expressions.
Guide Fooding 2016, came out on 12th November 2015 in France. The classic edition is 9,90 euros, available from newspaper kiosks. The collector's version is 12,90 euros and available in libraries and concept stores etc.
