If chefs took over office space it'd probably look a little like this: prep tables instead of desks, cutting boards instead of computers and knives instead of pens. That's just what you'll find this fall when Kochstation opens in Berlin.
Kochstation is a ''cubicle'' space dedicated to chefs and artisans in need of prep space and specialized equipment that would otherwise be too expensive. This would allow cooks and other food and beverage professionals to test out new recipes and concepts.
The innovative work station will be situated in Berlin's raumstation, a multi-level building with flexible workspace for artists, designers and other creative types. It will offer 30 cooking stations open 24/7.
But Kochstation isn't just limited to cooking - it also offers facilities for bottling, packaging and freezing. Sounds like a paradise for foodies!
