By FDL on
Japanese furinture designer Makoto Koizumi has launched these beautiful bamboo Minotake cutlery set, made with Kohchosai Kosuga, a traditional bamboo maker in Kyoto.
Bamboo kitchen ware, including plates and cutlery, has become a recent trend because the material's both strong and lightweight: the collection's beautiful design utilizes the natural curvature, lightness and strength of bamboo as its material while bringing sensorial and tactile experiences to the kitchen.
There are four pieces in the set, including two spoons and two spatula designs, ranging in price from $13 to $18.
