James Bond is known for his love of martinis, shaken not stirred. It should come as no surprise that he's great at making cocktails.
Among his favorite cocktails is the Vesper Martini, which 007 is drinks in Casino Royale. The peculiarity of this martini, which appears in the 1953 Ian Fleming novel, is that it is served with a thin strip of lemon peel.
According to James Bond Lifestyle, the recipe is as follows: ''Three measures of Gordon's, one of vodka, half a measure of Kina Lillet. Shake it very well until it's ice-cold, then add a large thin slice of lemon-peel. Got it?''
Kina Lillet is a type of vermouth that may be hard to find. If so, it can be replaced by any dry vermouth. The instructions for preparing the drink? Just mix all the ingredients together, shake and strain into a chilled glass. Don't forget the lemon peel garnish!
