If you enjoy the writing of food blogger David Lebovitz you'll love his latest his cookbook My Paris Kitchen - a compelling collection of recipes and fun tales of his 10 years in the French capital.

My Paris Kitchen features 100 French dishes prepared à la Lebovitz and highlights the cultural diversity in Paris. Lebovitz describes his cookbook as being "a story about how I cook in Paris – where I shop, how I find ingredients, the friends I like to cook with, as well as recipes from Parisian friends, chefs, and pastry chefs, with plenty of photos (and stories) of the outdoor markets, pastry shops, bread bakeries, bistros, and cafés."

The cookbook is divided into six chapters and  includes classic recipes like coq au vin, cassoulet and croque-monsieur, as well as modern desserts like duck fat cookies and bay leaf poundcake with orange glaze. Below is a sneak peek at My Paris Kitchen, which retails for $21.27 on Amazon.
