The acclaimed father and daughter team behind Three Michelin starred basque Arzak restaurant ranked #17 in the World’s Best 50 Restaurants are due to release an English verson of ‘Arzaks secrets’ on December 1st.
Originally published in Spanish, this will be a first opportunity for English speakers to obtain unique insight into the recipes and techniques used by Juan Mari Arzak and daughter Elena at their San Sebastian restaurant.

The fascinating book demands a level of technical skill and molecular gastronomy knowledge that will appeal to both professionals and aspiring home chefs. Supported by stunning photography the 'secrets' revealed are also a chance to better understand the innovation and development process behind the dishes in a restaurant that is considered one of the leaders in New Basque cuisine.
Both Juan Mari Arzak and Elena studied with the great chefs including Paul Bocuse, the Troisgros brothers, Alain Ducasse, Ferran Adrìa and Pierre Gagnaire. Together the dynamic duo have gone from strength to strength in their family owned Bassque restaurant. Elena was voted best female chef in the world in 2012 the year after her father had received the lifetime achievement award.
