It’s no secret René Redzepi is a fan of ants. The Danish chef made headlines some time ago for serving ants on the table at his acclaimed restaurant Noma, currently ranked second best restaurant in the world. Well, chef, we’ve found something we think you’d like: ant-covered dishware.

This rare set of china features hand-painted ants crawling on dinner plates, sugar bowls and tea pots. It’s a cringe-worthy dinner set designed by German artist Evelyn Bracklow of La Philie.

Bracklow drew inspiration for the porcelain set after she saw a “carelessly placed plate” covered with ants. She wanted to find a way of capturing the feelings of “fear, disgust, fascination and admiration.”

Take a look at some of the pieces in the set below, the ants are incredibly realistic. What do you think of the china set? Hate it or love it? Tell us in the comments below!
