Could a dictator like Fidel Castro be good? Yes, if he's shaped like a tasteful cake with one slice missing: the one meant for his mouth, a symbol of his oppressive voice.
This is the idea developed for Amnesty International’s latest advertising campaign, launched to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the human rights organization. Signed by the Prague-based creative agency Euro RSCG, the project pictures cake-sculpted heads of dictators Fidel Castro (Cuba) and Alexander Lukashenko (Belarus) with a slice missing from each leader's mouth.
Together with the two dictator cakes, the campaign is completed by the slogan '50 years together with you cutting down the voice of oppression': the icing on the cake of a great 50 years from Amnesty International.
