As S.Pellegrino's Sapori Ticino star studded 10th Anniversary celebrations prepare to get underway in the Swiss canton of Ticino, we pick up on the first four of 14 unmissable lakeside dinners happening in May.

A selection of resident chefs from the region's top hotels and restaurants in spectaular locations across Lugano and Ascona will kick off proceedings hosting a number of special guest chefs including Massimo Bottura and Annie Feolde with one off menus.

1st May - The Grand Opening at Hotel Splendide Royal, Lugano

S.Pellegrino Sapori Ticino inaugurates its 'gourmet series of dinners' in the beautiful surroundings of the Hotel Splendide Royal in Lugano.

Chef Domenico Ruberto opens the doors of his kitchen to three illustrious colleagues of the Swiss Deluxe Hotels. Heiko Nieder, Nenad Mlinarevic and Laurent Eperon.

Five Michelin stars, four great professionals, one unforgettable menu and a unique setting are guaranteed to make this an opening night to remember.

2nd May - Seven, The Restaurant, Lugano

Join host chef Luca Orini along with chef Thomas Bühner, of three Michelin starred Restaurant La Vie in Osnabrück, Germany, for an exclusive dinner served in the dining room overlooking the Gulf of Lugano.

8th May - Hotel Eden Roc, Ascona

Salvatore Frequente, head chef at Hotel Eden Roc hosts a one off dinner alongside one of the world's most renowned chefs, Massimo Bottura, from three Michelin star Osteria Francescana in Italy.

9th May - Hotel Prinicipe Leopoldo, Lugano

Dario Ranza hosts French born three Michelin starred Annie Féolde, Executive Chef Riccardo Monco and Chef de Cuisine Alessandro Della Tommasina from Enoteca Pinchiorri  at Hotel Principe Leopoldo's exclusive restaurant, which he has called home for 26 years.
