Terra Madre Salone del Gusto 2018 Returns with over 350 Events

Terra Madre Salone del Gusto returns to Torino from 20 to 24 September, the flagship Slow Food biennial event that concentrates on the culture and ethics of food.

Now in its twelfth edition, the international event- divided between the pavilions of Lingotto Fiere and other locations - spreads across the Piedmontese capital for five days with over 350 initiatives taking place, including events, workshops, conferences and meetings.

Under the motto of the 2018 edition Food for change at Lingotto will alternate thematic areas dedicated to fish, meat, bees, and other insects, seeds and also to health, with spaces also for teaching and conferences to delegates from all over the world will participate.

This year sees the likes of Alice Waters take to the stage while a series of high profile guest chefs like Ana Roš and Paolo Casagrande from 3 Michelin starred Lasarte in Barcelona.

In fact, there will be 140 countries all over the world represented in that of Turin, to which will be added about a thousand exhibitors from all over the boot. For a 360 ° offer between culture and gastronomy, the castles of the territory, the city museums and various food trucks will also be involved.
