If you like it hot, head on down to the hottest show on earth, when flavour and fire combine at the National Fiery Foods & BBQ Show at Sandia Resort and Casino from 1 to 3 March 2019 in Albuquerque, USA.
With over 1000 different products to taste from around the world, hundreds of exhibitors will be on display showcasing their best fiery gourmet foods, sauces, spices, sweet-heat treats and rubs at this 31st festival in New Mexico.
Wander around the fair and meet fellow chili heads as you sample everything from blazing BBQ to superhot salsa to mild and savory marinades and rubs, even sweet heat desserts!
The History of the Hottest BBQ show
The show has racked up over 30 years of history gathering in both size and popularity year on year. The first show was held in the fall of 1988, with just 47 exhibitors and about 500 visitors and making a 100 dollar profit!
Fast forward to today and the show has grown to about 200 exhibitors and over 20,000 local and international visitors over the three days.
The event used to be dominated by men, but that's also shifted with a 50-50 split of visitors — which also applies to exhibitors.
