The gourmet Italian food congress, Le Strade della Mozzarella (LSDM), heads to London for two days of chef presentations and tastings featuring mozzarella and pizza, from 27 - 28 February 2017 as part of its 10th birthday celebrations.
Fresh from an earlier stop in Milan, this stop of the tour takes in a selection of top Italian chefs and pizzaioli from Southern Italy delivering a genuine 'taste of Italy' in 'the many roads of Mozzarella' captured in a delicious two days.
Guests will get the chance to immerse themselves in the enticing world of Neapolitan pizza, PDO Buffalo Mozzarella and some of Italy's most beloved ingredients. See what's on below.
What's On at LSDM London
On Monday, 27th February LSDM hosts a unique evening at L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele showcasing Neapolitan Pizza at its very best with four of the Italy's most infamous pizzaioli from Naples, the capital city of pizza, and environs: Marco Condurro, Francesco and Salvatore Salvo, Giuseppe Pignalosa will all be highlighting their personal take on the iconic pizza.
On Tuesday 28th February events will unfold at Baglioni Hotel with a half-day event celebrating Italian cuisine and the culinary traditions of Southern Italy. Itallian chefs Roberto Petza from Sardinia, Accursio Craparo from Sicily, Angelo Sabatelli from Apulia and Salvatore La Ragione from Campania will all discuss and present tastings on regional specialities.
The event closes with distinctly British flavours as Pasquale Torrente and his son and Gaetano cook up the classic British dish of “fish and chips,” Italian Style, which guests will also get to sample.
Guests that are still hungry can sample the tasting stalls offering the best in Italian food and wine products and a chance to meet the producers.

The main LSDM event will take place at the Savoy Beach Hotel in Paestum, Italy, on April 19th -20th. The international tour will continue apace in New York in June 28th-29th, hosted at the Show Room Pentole Agnelli in Manhattan.
