This fall the Big Apple will welcome El Celler de Can Roca's Joan Roca to the 9th annual International Chef Congress taking place on October 26th-28th.
For three days, Roca and world-class chefs like Enrique Olvera from Mexico, Yoshihiro Narisawa from Japan, Dan Barber and Grant Achatz and Marcus Samuelsson will set up shop in New York City to host presentations at the one-of-a-kind culinary symposium.
Hosted by StarChefs, the ICC gathers more than 100 of the world's most innovative chefs, pastry chefs, mixologists, and sommeliers to present their latest techniques and culinary concepts. This year's theme will be Cooking Honest: The Power of Authenticity in the Kitchen.
Participants will get to attended demos, wine tastings, business panels and hands-on workshops in pastry, savory cooking and mixology. It's really a great way for those in the industry to network with their peers.
