Davide Scabin Gets Set to Cook in Hong Kong

Chef Davide Scabin will take the helm of the Michelin starred Italian restaurant Tosca, Hong Kong, for an exclusive three night culinary experience, from November 19th to 21st 2015, alongside host and chef Pino Lavarra.

A special nine course exclusive menu has been designed to appeal to the most revered of gastronomes that includes, "green pea cream, “panelle” and fried aromatic herbs with liquorice, "salted cod and crispy duck with Carmagnola bell pepper compote" and "mushroom risotto, tofu and Alba white truffle" or "Tenderloin and veal tongue in Barolo sauce,"

Chef Scabin's innovative cuisine won two Michelin stars for his restaurant, Combal.Zero, in Rivoli in 2007 and he draws on his design-orientated experimentation with ingredients, shapes, textures and temperatures in this creative menu.

Two Michelin starred Chef Pino Lavarra has been at Tosca since 2013, and brings with him a wealth of previous experience as well as specific expertise in innovative Southern Italian cuisine.

Priced at HK$1,980 for eight courses and HK$2,180 for nine courses, the dinner menus promise an ultimate immersion in Chef Scabin’s innovative culinary world.

For guests looking for a mid-day indulgence, the lunch menus from HK$680 are a perfect excuse. The menu includes “Apulia Red Prawn Carpaccio with Gorgonzola Fondue”, “Turinese Carnaroli Risotto”.
