This year some of the world's greatest chefs will premiere food films at the 65th Berlinale. Among them are Massimo Bottura, The Roca Brothers and Sergio Herman, whose films are part of the Culinary Cinema at Berlin's famous film festival.

A total of 20 films will be screened in the Culinary Cinema program, eight of which will celebrate their world premiere. The films cover everything from top chefs, food and to culture and politics. As a special touch, Michelin-starred chefs like Paco Pérez and Christian Lohse will serve dinner menus inspired by the films.

American chef Alice Waters and Slow Food president Carlo Petrini will be honored at the Berlinale for their influence in establishing the festival's Culinary Cinema program.
