Third annual Chicago Food Film Festival kicks off on November 15th with a whole list of events that focus on food and film.
Mixed with the usual screenings and discussions you'd expect at a film festival they'll be a discussions held with a panel of influential food film makers, chaired by the director of the Food Film Festival George Motz.
A Midnight Ramen event will allow people to sample the delights of World-Ramen Expert, Chef Keizo Shimamoto, a man known for being very serious about his noodles.
There's a great range of films being screened with Artisan Baker, Mozzarella Inc and Vegetables: Friend or Foe? seeming like some of the stand out watches.
It's a festival that's literally packed with food gems - Chef Phililp Foss will create a special multi course dinner, Fish Fry Fridays will be in full swing and there's even a chance to taste what you see on the screen.
For the title alone we suggest anyone in the vicinity attend the Avacado Takedown presented by Avacados from Mexico taking place in the afternoon of November 17th.
