The final countdown is on to the twelfth edition of the Bernard Loiseau Culinary Festival, the annual international collaboration of Michelin starred and resident chef events held at Constance Belle Mare Plage on the sun soaked island of Mauritius from 25 March to 2 April, 2017.
Set inside the luxury holiday resort lapped by the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean the Bernard Loiseau Culinary festival is among the most prestigious gastronomic events in the area, and not just for its stunning location. On the unique occasion both local and international chefs have the chance to exchange knowledge and celebrate their passion for cooking in an atmosphere of shared enthusiasm supported by a line-up of top food events and equally enthusiastic guests.

This year's proceedings includes six international Michelin starred chefs paired up with chefs from island who will share the secrets of the local cuisine with their allocated partner in order to break creative boundaries and re-invent new dishes with . The final dishes will be judged by an international jury, chaired by Dominique Loiseau, with the winning couple being announced at the final gala dinner.

Wine pairing, show cooking, masterclasses, market tours and special dinners are just a few of the other activities to entertain and tantalise during the seven days of festivities, which come to a grand finale on the last evening with a dinner and dance.
