The Veuve Clicquot GQ Food and Drink Awards have finished with The Palomar restaurant in London voted the Best Restaurant in the UK.
The Israeli restaurant beat out the likes of The Ledbury which sits at number 10 on The World’s 50 Best Restaurants list.
The Best Chef award went to Nieves Barragán Mohacho from the Barrafina restaurants and Best Bar was given to The Connaught Bar.
In the Best Pub category it was The White Horse in Chichester that took top spot.
The awards highlight a nice section of the food and drink industry in the UK with some interesting winners selected.
