Just in case you thought you haven’t seen enough of Gordon Ramsay, the globally recognised Michelin-starred chef is set to debut in the Sandbox metaverse with a version of 'Hell’s Kitchen'.
The Scottish-born chef has announced a new version of 'Hell’s Kitchen' will debut on ITV Studio’s LAND in The Sandbox. The show will feature a digital avatar of the famous chef and participants can recreate their own virtual versions of Ramsay’s dishes in the metaverse.
The chef’s 'Hell’s Kitchen' series has been a long-running success, garnering some six primetime Emmy nominations over 20 seasons. It makes sense that the concept would cross into the metaverse as the virtual cooking game concept booms. The Sandbox is a virtual gaming world where people build, own, and monetise their gaming experiences in the Ethereum blockchain.
“There’s nothing more exciting to me than chartering new territory, whether that’s creating a signature dish, a new restaurant concept, a new show, or now a virtual experience in The Sandbox. I’ve been fascinated by The Sandbox and its offering in the metaverse,” a Bitcoinist report quoted the chef as saying.
