To mark the launch of a new creative collective, Chocolate Fountain, the award winning chef Andreas Caminada will hold an exclusive dinner to mark the beginning of what is the collective's first ever symposium.
Taking place over five days, the symposium will hold events across Lenzerheide in the Swiss Alps. Held throughout January around Hotel Kurhaus, the sport store Pesko, Alp Fops and many other locations.
The idea is to bring together a group of creative people from many disciplines and establish an annual event filled with showcases and performances. Fashion, music, food and art will all combine during the symposium with guests such as the Danish siblings the Inoue Brothers , the American musician Gary Clark Junior and the German artist Lex Mestrovic - to name just a few.
An opening dinner will take place at Caminada's Schloss Schauenstein castle in the Swiss Alps, tonight will see guests welcomed with some interesting dishes from Caminada and his team.
Tartar of angus beef, smoked fish and seaweed, ham and bacon in many different textures - just the amuse bouches.
After guests have explored the castle and some of the exciting art exhibitions throughout, they're sit down for a special 12-course Flying Dinner menu served with S.Pellegrino and Acqua Panna mineral waters.
Mackerel, cucumber, mango and lobster with spice-consommé. Crème brulé of potatoes with white truffles, a special fish dish of halibut, leek, potatoes and Perigor truffles. Desserts will include an apple, caramel and lemon yogurt.
The informal event and dining setting have been designed to encourage guests of the symposium to mingle and relax as they explore the setting.
Speaking about the event Caminada said: " I am very happy that we can offer a stage (platform) for young but also experimented and confirmed artists from all over the world, on which people meet and network. All this creative energy together will for sure inspire everyone for new ideas or ways to create."
After five days many of the artistic showcases will then open to the public.
Stay tuned for some pictures of the event and some of the wonderful dishes on offer.
