Dining well in an airport is one of those things we seem to have decided isn’t possible - we roll up to the queues with money in hand, ready for the overpriced slab of food and we rarely complain.
However, it doesn’t have to be like this. We’ve already highlighted Heathrow’s new scheme that allows people to order food from restaurants by chefs like Heston Blumenthal and Gordon Ramsay and now Thrillist have compiled a list of the best airports for food in the U.S.
The team have created a list of 72 different airports with tips on the best places to eat in each one, in fact, they say they’ve gone to great lengths to break down every essential airport in the U.S. and even considered what kind of options each one offers.
Quality, quantity, uniqueness and regionally have all been considered when compiling the list and there’s some great suggestions to consider the next time you’re travelling.
