The hugely popular food and science lectures held at Harvard University are set to make a come back. Called Science and Cooking the public lecture series is a collaboration between professors, researchers and culinary professionals who come to together to discuss a whole range of topics relating to food and science.
Last year saw sell out numbers in attendance for all the lectures and to make up for high demand, the LA Times reports that Harvard will increase the size of lecture halls.
Ferran Adria, David Chang, Jose Andres, Joan and Jordi Roca and even the pastry chefs from the White House, Bill Yosses and Joanne Change, will all hold own lectures.
All the lectures are free to attend and work on a first come first served basis, except Ferran Adria's lecture which is a ticketed event due to an high demand. Those who can't make the lectures can watch a live stream which airs on Mondays at 7 p.m. Eastern time and all the videos from the event will be made available on itunes or Youtube.
The Roca Brothers Jordi and Joan will discuss precision cooking on the 10th September and until then here's a look at the first lecture from 2011, featuring Ferran Adria.
