The team behind the Zagat surveys have released a collection of off-takes from their most recent San Francisco survey.

They've published a list of the funniest food comments made by their surveyors.

Things like: 'They put the urge in cheeseburger' or 'I think they could fry ice if they had to.'

It's a quality collection of one liners and shows just how original and funny people can be when talking about their food. Our personal favorite? 'My eyes told me that a lot of effort goes into the food, but my mouth didn't care.'
