The New York Times has a great video online with Connie Green from Wine Forest, a company that supplies mushrooms to restaurants on the West Coast of America.
In the video Connie takes the NY Times foraging for wild mushrooms in California. She has been working with wild mushrooms throughout her career and really knows her stuff. She still has a child like enthusiasm for foraging and it's great to watch her in the woods and to see someone so passionate about raw ingredients.
It's a great little insight into mushroom hunting but we don't advise you rush out to do it yourself unless you really know what you're doing. Some mushrooms and wild fungi can be fatally poisonous.
You can see the full Mushroom Hunting Video on the New York Times Website.
