The Food Network has compiled a list of the 50 Best Sandwiches in America.

They sent their editors to all the states and spent arpund 6 months sampling and trying to pick the best sandwich in every state.

From Lamb Grinders to Pork Tenderloin the network have tried and tested almost every kind of sandwich there is.

They've even created an interative map for readers to find the best sandwhich in each state - list like this are sure to cause a stir and this one is no different. Larry Olmsted over at Forbes is already pointing out that the mighty lobster roll in Maine was left of the lift.
