Don't be fooled by their slim figures, William and Kate are big foodies. The royal couple cozy up to homemade meals like roast chicken prepared by Kate on a regular basis. They even own a sausage maker!

These foodie facts and more were revealed in an interview  in the September issue of Vanity Fair, which features Kate on the cover. The Duchess of Cambridge topped the magazine's best dressed list for the third consecutive year. 

According to a source quoted in Vanity Fair, the couple does not employ a personal chef at their home on the Welsh island of Anglesey. Kate does the shopping and cooking and enjoys making strawberry and plum preserves, which she hands out during the holidays. 

Will and Kate are not the only royals who enjoy eating simple foods. The Queen herself favors jam sandwiches, chocolate cake and Special K cereal, according to Darren McGrady, a chef who served the royal family for 15 years.
