Vinyl Desserts: Food Pictures to Taste... and Hear

In his personal still life project called '33RPM', the Swedish photographer Philip Karlberg gives a very unusual perspective on food: together with the chef (and designer) Mattias Nyhlin, he took pictures of a series of mouth-watering desserts spinning on a vinyl.

Every dish was inspired by a specific song, and it seems the styling and the food concepts are also based on the song titles.

The suggested music playlist is available on Spotify

Jolene by Dolly Parton: Candied pear with sweet red wine reduction.

If I had a heart by Fever Ray: Raspberry sorbet, mint ice cream and fig.

Where is my mind by The Pixies: Pannacotta.

Here I go again by Whitesnake: Cheese cake with jelly.

Don’t look back into the sun by The Libertines: Sundae surprise.

You can call me Al by Paul Simon: Fruit carpaccio.

Nuthin but a ‘G’ thang by Dr Dre feat. Snoop: Pancakes, chocolate mousse & cream.
